Hi, I’m Omeka.
I’m the founder and the hands behind OB&B Skincare. Long before there was a brand, there were family traditions that taught me care did not have to be complicated to be meaningful.
Where It Started
Growing up, my grandmother made soap the old-fashioned way. After our baths, she would rub lard onto our skin and stand us beside the wood stove while the warmth helped it melt in. We would complain that we were hot, and she would tell us to turn around so the other side could finish. We laughed — but I never forgot the ritual, the care or the wisdom behind using what you had with intention.
From My Kitchen to OB&B
OB&B began in my kitchen with herbs from my garden, curiosity and plenty of trial and error. I wanted body care I enjoyed using, made with ingredients I could understand and formulas that felt good as part of an everyday routine.
Today, our soaps, body oils and body butters are made in small batches in Corryton, Tennessee. We focus on texture, aroma, ingredient transparency and the experience of using each product.
What We Believe
Simple routines can still feel special. You should be able to understand what is in the products you use. A handcrafted formula should earn its place in your routine through the way it cleanses, conditions, moisturizes or simply makes you look forward to using it.
The People Behind the Purpose
Faith and family are part of the foundation of OB&B. I’m grateful for the grandmother whose traditions planted the seed, the mother who kept me grounded, and the husband who has supported and encouraged this business from the beginning.
Isaiah 43:19 and 2 Timothy 1:7 continue to remind me to keep moving with faith, love and a sound mind.
